Founder of the Relating Well Center, LLC, Patricia Rich is a therapist and consultant with over twenty years of professional experience. She graduated from the University of Michigan with Phi Beta Kappa designation, and earned a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. She completed a post-graduate externship in marriage and family therapy at the Institute for Juvenile Research at the University of Illinois in Chicago, as well as a certificate program in sex therapy at Council for Relationships in Philadelphia. She is certified by AASECT as a Sex Therapist and Supervisor of Sex Therapy. She has also completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 of Internal Family Systems therapy training (IFS) and is a Certified IFS Therapist and Supervisor.
In addition to clinical practice, Patricia offers consultation to therapists and other professionals who would like to improve their effectiveness and sense of personal balance and well-being. She offers trainings and presents at national conferences including AASECT, IFS, and Smart Marriages.
Patty’s style is warm and collaborative. She combines caring, compassion, and deep listening with specific suggestions, strategies, and feedback that help people to feel better and make progress toward their goals. She helps people to get to the heart of their concerns and to make meaningful changes in their lives.
