IFS & Sexuality Clinical Consultation Group

This 6 session monthly online group will offer therapists the opportunity to deepen their skills and self-awareness using IFS to address sexual concerns that arise during clinical work, informed by the presenters conceptualization of Self-Led Sexuality. It will include some combination of meditation, speaking for parts, demos, teaching, and participant presentations of a case or professional issue. It is not expected that each participant will present each time but that all will have opportunities during the progression of the group.

Pre-requisites:

Level One IFS training or significant exposure to the IFS model such as the IFS-Institute Online Circle and Continuity Program, experiential introductory workshop, etc. Some education or professional experience addressing sexuality would be helpful but not required.

Fee:

The series of 6 sessions costs $495. Participation will be capped at 8 participants. Please check the dates in advance as there will not be fee adjustments based on missed sessions. Due to confidentiality concerns, sessions will not be recorded. Reduced fee option on limited basis, particularly for members of under-represented/marginalized groups.

Regarding IFS Certification:

If you have completed Level 1 IFS training and meet the other IFS-I requirements, these hours may count toward IFS Clinical Consultation group hours. There will not be CE’s offered.

She is guided by the Internal Family Systems model (IFS), principles of positive sexuality, embodied practices, and a social justice lens. She is formulating a model for Self-Led Sexuality that helps people to navigate sexuality in a wise, expansive and centered way. She has taught Self-Led Sexuality as a 4 month module in the IFS Institute’s Online Continuity Program to over 800 participants. In addition to being a Level 3 trained, Certified Internal Family Systems Therapist and Approved Clinical Consultant, Patricia is a Certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor of Sex Therapy through AASECT.
